Privacy Policy

When you order, we collect your name, email address, shipping address and the contents of your order. Payment card details go directly to Stripe and never reach our servers.

If you create an account we store your email, a hashed password, any saved addresses and any designs you save. If you request a quote we store what you put in the form, including the ZIP code you are shipping to.

We also store a session cookie so your cart works, and a preference cookie remembering light or dark mode. Neither is used for advertising.

To take payment, cut and ship your order, email you about it, answer quote requests, and keep an order history you can look back at. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Stripe processes payments and holds the card details we never see.

Shippo is used to quote shipping rates and buy labels, which means your delivery address is shared with it and with the carrier delivering your parcel.

Mailgun sends our transactional email — order confirmations, shipping notifications and download links.

Google Analytics gives us aggregate traffic statistics. It sets its own cookies and can see pages viewed, approximate location and device details. It is not given your name, email or address.

Each of these is a processor acting on our instructions, and each has its own privacy policy.

Orders and their associated records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting and tax purposes. Account details and saved designs are kept until you ask us to delete them. Quote requests are kept while they are open and for a reasonable period afterwards.

You can see and change your account details and addresses while signed in, and delete a saved design at any time.

Email support@nwstencil.com to ask for a copy of what we hold, to correct it, or to have your account and personal information deleted. We will still need to keep records of completed orders where the law requires it.

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights over your personal information — including in California and Oregon. Contact us and we will honour them.

The site is served over HTTPS, passwords are stored hashed, and payment details are handled entirely by Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not hold the data that would be most valuable to an attacker.

This is a trade supplier and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
